The Game Awards 2024 er unnagjort. Vi fikk ingen Half-Life 3-kunngjøring, men showet vartet opp med både The Witcher IV, et Elden Ring-sidesprang og noe helt nytt fra Naughty Dog.
Det ble også delt ut et hav av priser til spillene som utmerket seg i løpet av året som har gått.
Astro Bot tok hjem kveldens gjeveste pris, nemlig årets spill. Plattformeventyret fra Team Asobi vant også tre andre priser, for blant annet beste familiespill og beste regi.
Indiesuksessen Balatro og rollespillet Metaphor: ReFantazio høstet tre priser hver. Helldivers 2 og Black Myth: Wukong tok to hver, inkludert Player's Voice – prisen som utelukkende bestemmes av spillere – for Black Myth: Wukong.
