The Game Awards går av stabelen natt til 8. desember. Som vanlig skal Geoff Keighley og kompani hylle spillene som har preget det siste året, med haugevis av priser som skal deles ut.
Denne uka fikk vi vite hvem som er nominert i de ulike priskategoriene. Ikke uventet er Baldur's Gate 3 sterkt representert, med hele åtte nominasjoner – inkludert for årets spill og beste historie. Alan Wake 2 fikk også åtte nominasjoner.
Kanskje mer overraskende var det at Starfield kun er nominert i én kategori. Bethesda-spill er vanligvis fast inventar i toppen av årskåringer, men Starfield har kun sjansen til å plukke med seg pris for beste rollespill i år.
